Under the leadership of Mrs. Charletta Wilson Jacks, the 2026–2030 International Program of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® is a bold and transformational call to action designed to strengthen communities, empower families, elevate future leaders, and expand the global impact of service.
Grounded in the organization’s historic mission of Service to All Mankind®, this administration advances a modern, measurable, and member-centered approach to service, one that is flexible enough to meet local community needs while scalable enough to create worldwide impact.
Developed through conversations with members, chapter leaders, educators, families, business professionals, and community stakeholders across the sisterhood, the 2026–2030 program reflects a shared vision for initiatives that are customizable, sustainable, collaborative, and impactful. The result is a comprehensive framework that empowers chapters of every size and capacity to meet the unique needs of their communities while creating lasting global impact.

Uplifting our Local Community Initiative
Steele Creek AME Zion Church
We partner with the Steele Creek AME Zion Church to assist with expanding their food & clothing Pantry. We have donated several food and clothing items for the pantry. We also volunteer at the pantry by organizing canned food and clothing donations. We participated in their holiday drive by packing Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner boxes to feed families in need.
Enhance our Environment Initiative
TreesCharlotte
We have a partnership with TreesCharlotte in Steele Creek where they participated in a tree planting event. We are looking forward to working with them on their newest initiative, Treesilience, which is a holistic tree care initiative aimed at protecting and enhancing Charlotte’s under-canopied and under-served neighborhoods while building community through trees.
Empower our Families Initiative
Pineville Elementary School
Through Alpha Kappa Alpha's Childhood Hunger Program, we provide monthly meals to students of Pineville Elementary School. The Ballantyne Sprouts provides sturdy bags for us to bag and prepare all food items for Pineville Elementary. We also provide weekly tutoring to students in need of additional assistance before school.
Empower our Families Initiative
Friendship Missionary Baptist Church
We partner with Friendship Missionary Baptist Church for the Childhood Hunger program through Pineville Elementary. Through this partnership, we are able to feed additional families in need over school-breaks.
Uplifting our Local Community Initiative
Sowing Mustard Seed Ministries
Sowing Mustard Seeds Ministry is a non-profit organization with a primary focus on providing assistance to under-served communities, veterans, formerly incarcerated, and elderly individuals. We have donated non-perishable snacks, socks and toiletries for the under-served individuals within their program.

Empower Our Families Initiative
Anderson Counseling Group
Through our partnership with Anderson Counseling Group, we will fight the stigma against mental health and raise awareness related to depression, anxiety and trauma during Mental Awareness month in May.
Uplifting our Local Community Initiative
Charlotte Mecklenburg Libraries
We have a partnership with Mecklenburg Library to bring community programming efforts to the southside through Steele Creek Library, Pineville Library, South Regional Library and the South Park Regional Library.
Empower our Families Initiative
The Haven & The Laurels Senior Center
We partner during the Christmas season and engage residents with holiday arts, crafts and games. In addition, we put on a special program for Martin Luther King Jr. day, highlighting his activism.

Sterling Elementary School
We provide monthly pre-packaged meals to students of Sterling Elementary in Pineville and their families.
